FlareScan AI ("FlareScan", "we", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
Data we collect
We collect account information you provide directly (name, work email, company name, team size), connection metadata required to index the third-party tools you authorize, and product usage telemetry such as query counts, response latency, and feature interactions.
How we use your data
- To operate, maintain, and improve the FlareScan service.
- To respond to support requests and communicate product updates.
- To detect abuse and protect the security of our customers.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not train foundation models on customer content.
Third-party services
FlareScan relies on a small set of sub-processors (cloud hosting, transactional email, error monitoring, analytics). A current list is available on our Security page. Each sub-processor is bound by a data-processing agreement.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the CCPA, or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email privacy@flarescan.ai and we'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Account data is retained for the life of your account and deleted within 30 days of account closure. Query logs are retained for 7 days for abuse detection and then purged. Indexed customer content is removed within 24 hours of disconnecting a source.
